Sending the kids off in style!
Monday 21st July 2025
Each year at High Beeches, the parents of the outgoing year six students plan an informal party for the kids…
Taking place in the school playground (or inside if bad weather!) we organise a range of activities, food and fun for the children to enjoy together. For some of them this will be one of the last occasions they’ll be at High Beeches or with all of their classmates.
Food will be available for the students, as well as activities and games but essentially they enjoy their time free-range with their friends! Kicking a ball together, playing tag, having photos taken, listening to music and much more.
We will be ordering pizza for the children to eat - if you have any dietary restrictions please let us know through your class rep.
Parents should bring picnic blankets, food and drink for themselves (alcohol is permitted but must be provided by the parents. There will be no bar available). Additionally, siblings are allowed to attend but you must bring your own food and drink for them as they will not be catered for alongside the year six students.
Please note - you are asked to make a contribution per year six child - payment links and QR codes will be shared asap. To ensure everyone who has paid receives their food and drink we will be using a register at the event.
Parents MUST attend the leavers party alongside their child or children. This is not a supervised event - parents are responsible for their own children.
Timings (Subject to change):
4.30-5.30pm - Set Up (all volunteers - you know who you are! - should arrive to help set up.
5.30pm - Party Time!
8.00pm - Wrap up and goodbye!
Please stick around and help clear up. Many hands make light work!
Last plea - if you have access to activities or games (for free!) or you have a special skill that could be useful (photographers for example) please get in touch with us via your class whatsapp!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Allergens and Dietary Requirements
The safety and wellbeing of every child is our top priority. If your child has any allergies, intolerances, or specific dietary requirements, it is essential that you notify us before they attend.
While we will make every effort to accommodate needs, there may be occasions where we are unable to fully meet specific dietary requirements. In these cases, parents or guardians may be asked to provide suitable alternatives for their child.
Please ensure you share full details of any allergies or dietary restrictions with us as early as possible. This helps us plan appropriately and keep all children safe.
If you have any questions or need to discuss your child’s requirements further, please do not hesitate to contact us via your class rep who will put you in contact with the organising team.
